The Y7 Summit 2023 Japan (Y7 Summit), an official affiliated organization of the G7 Hiroshima Summit, will be held. At the Y7 Summit, leaders (under 30s) who are familiar with the G7 agenda gather from each G7 country. It is the only official forum in the world to present common views on solutions to the world's international problems to the G7 leaders. The plenary session will be held in Japan, where the proposals will be cited in the joint statement of the G7 Summit and have the potential to have a major impact on global policy.

The Y7 Summit 2023 Japan (Y7 Summit), an official subsidiary of the G7 Hiroshima Summit, held the summit. The Y7 Summit brings together leaders (under 30 years old) from each of the G7 countries who are familiar with the G7 agenda. It is the only official forum in the world to propose common views on solutions to global issues to the G7 leaders. The summit, whose proposals will be cited in the joint statement of the G7 Summit and may have a major impact on global policy, was held in Japan.

“G7 Official Youth Event” targeting youth in their 30s and younger
~ Let's deliver your voice to the G7 leaders ~" was held at the Bunkyo Civic Center (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo). About 70 people on the day
of youth participated face-to-face and online to deepen their understanding of this year's G7 Hiroshima Summit and Y7 Summit,
Discussions and presentations were made on the contents of the proposals.

March-May, 2022
At the Y20 2022 Indonesia Summit, a total of four pre-summit events were held in a hybrid format online and on-site from March to June in preparation for the main meeting, and each track (Digital Transformation, Sustainable and Livable Planet, Diversity and Inclusion, Youth Employment), active discussions and discussions were held.

(Finished) 2021 Y7 Summit Pre-event
March-May, 2021
Through the YouThink awareness survey and three events, we were able to obtain the opinions of 1,024 Japanese young people. The first was for college students and working people, and the second and third were for junior high and high school students. Based on these, the Y7 delegation discussed the policies to be reflected in the joint declaration, and after a month-long negotiation period, they decided to discuss the issues of youth in the G7 countries, including the issues that Japanese youth consider most important. We were able to reflect our priorities in the Y7 joint declaration.

東京大学にて、Y7 Canadaの報告と、Y20 Argentinaに向けてのワークショップを開催致しました。60人以上の学生・社会人の方にご参加頂き、ワークショップを通じて参加者同士が交流を深めました。また、カナダ大使館よりステファニー・レトルノー氏にご来場頂き、カナダ大使館・カナダ政府のユースに関わる政策や期待についてスピーチを頂きました。

Y7 Italy/Y20 Germanyの活動報告会及び団体説明会を開催致しました。
初めに、Y7 Italy/Y20 Germanyの日本代表団より各サミットのスケジュールや議題、完成したコミュニケについて報告がなされました。その後、Youth Summitの議題ごとにグループに分かれ、高校生から社会人までに至る参加者と代表団が自由にディスカッションを行いました。
また、最後に弊団体のロゴ・団体名称にリニューアル並びに委員会募集に関わるご説明をさせていただきました。イベント終了後も参加者と代表団が積極的に交流し、とてもインタラクティブなイベントとなりました。

2017年度Y7/Y20開催、並びに日本代表団派遣に向け、より多くの日本のYouthの意見を提言に反映すべく、様々な国際問題について2017年度日本代表団と議論するイベントを開催致しました。およそ45名の高校生、大学生、社会人の方にご参加頂き、ジェンダー、経済、ヘルスケア等のグループに分かれ、活発なディスカッションが行われました。

4日間にかけ開催されたY7 Summit Japan 2016 の2日目、代表団だけでなく一般応募者約250名にもご参加頂きパブリックイベントを開催致しました。当イベントでは、安全保障、経済、移民・難民等の幅広い国際問題について、多数の有識者からご講演頂いた他、日本舞踊等の日本文化紹介を行いました。
